Aquastore™ tanks are found in virtually every segment of the water market; storing potable water, waste water, grey water and leachate. Glass-fused-to-steel bolted tanks offer several advantages that have contributed to their rapid acceptance. They are cost effective. Factory coating eliminates the weather delays and variables affecting the quality of field applied coatings. The unique, bolted lap-joints speed assembly. The tanks can be pre-engineered for future vertical expansion. Bolted tanks can be erected in remote locations and be designed for relocation. The factory-applied silica glass coating on Aquastore™ tanks forms a hard, inert barrier for both the interior and exterior of surfaces of the tank. It protects the steel core against weather and corrosion. The Aquastore™ tank's proprietary Edgecoat™ process produces a barrier coating on the sheet edges, so that the entire steel panel is encapsulated in a glass shell. Engineered Storage Products has instituted an ongoing research/product improvement program dedicated to constantly enhancing our manufacturing processes. Aquastore™ tanks offer consistent corrosion protection. The glass coating provides a water-resistant interior and a graffiti-resistant exterior. The physical properties of Aquastore™ tanks' glass coating are especially suited to municipal/industrial liquid storage applications. Aquastore™ tank sheets are shipped on protective skids domestically, with crated hardware and accessories. At the jobsite, Aquastore™ tanks are installed by Greatario Engineered Storage Systems, using specialized equipment. The tanks are assembled from the top down with a jacking system that progressively elevates the structure. The bolted construction enables rapid, logical progress for timely completion even in weather that would routinely delay concrete or welded construction. Cold Climate GlassIn an effort to continuously improve the coating system, ESPC has developed a glass coating that is formulated with a high concentration of Ti02 (Titanium Dioxide) ESPC has performed numerous tests in their factory located freeze/thaw chamber and have determined that this glass formulation with Ti02 is much more resilient to the rigors of the Canadian Climate. Physical characteristics such as spall resistance and corrosion resistance have been tested and documented. The interior of tanks formulated with a high concentration of Ti02 will appear ivory in colour. Like our traditional coating, cold climate glass is ANSI/NSF Standard 61 certified. |

Stainless Steel EdgeCoatAquastore™ sheet edges are mechanically rounded and flame sprayed with a stainless steel alloy. Finally, the whole sheet is encapsulated with glass which double coats the sheet edge with protective barriers. The result is a stronger corrosion resistant coating that does not rely on organic sealers for protection. |

Factory Applied Epoxy/Galvanized/Stainless Steel CoatingsFactory epoxy coated tanks combine the convenience of bolted storage tanks with many options of baked on Epoxy and acrylic urethane coatings to meet a wide variety of industrial and municipal applications. The epoxy coating is an excellent choice for hot water and pure water application, dry storage, or other specialized needs. In addition to the epoxy coated tanks, the Tecstore product line also offers the same style tanks in stainless steel and hot dipped galvanized steel. This allows the tank to be put in the toughest of industrial and municipal environments. Factory epoxy coated tanks combine the convenience of a bolted tank with the uniform assurance of a quality baked on epoxy coating. Unlike other painted bolted tanks, the Tecstore product uses the same flat panel design as the Aquastore™ glass-fused-to steel tank. The flat panel design eliminates gaskets and flanges between rows of panels. This proven 50 year method of making bolted steel tanks is preferred in both the wet and dry storage industry. Also, by using the flat panel design, the tank can be built using the revolutionary jack system developed for building Aquastore™ tanks. The jacking system allows for the tank to be built almost entirely on the ground. This same flat panel design is used by ESPC on their stainless steel and hot-dipped galvanized tanks. ESPC offers stainless bolted tanks in a variety of different grades of stainless steel. |
